Vitis Canadice grape

Posted on December 5, 2012 by Lucile Whitman

This pink seedless is a favorite in the Northwest where summers can be cool because it can be relied on to produce good crops of excellent spicy-sweet grapes.  They aren’t huge, but not tiny either. It is one of the few seedless grapes that I don’t object to the skin.

Size: Bareroot Price: $9.50
Size: Gallon Price: $25.00

About Whitman Farms

Whitman Farms began in 1980 as an informal nut tree and small fruit adjunct to a large bareroot nursery next door in Salem Oregon. It was a one-woman show and mostly for fun. However, Lucile Whitman (pictured), the owner, got sidetracked; she became enamored of unusual ornamental trees and started planting any weird and wonderful woody plants she ran across, using root control bags, a new plant-friendly technology.
