Morus ‘White Ivory’

This is the mulberry that really blew me away this year; the fruit is big, white with a crimson blush, and it is amazingly sweet and flavorful—indescribable actually. The problem with theses new big white cultivars is I don’t know the hardiness zone. Normally white mulberries (Sweet Lavender, Beautiful Day, etc) are super hardy, but I’m going to need some feedback from some of you who try these big ones.

Morus ‘El Dorado’

Always on the lookout for a good sized white mulberry since they don’t stain, I have hit the jackpot with a few this year. This one is El Dorado; the scionwood came from Hungary and that is all I can say about its provenance;  it is sweet with some complexity to the flavor and the tree which has shiny large leaves is a slow grower to maybe 15’.
